See what's happening around you, right now
is a social navigator: a live map of real-world situations near you.
Mark any moment happening around you: a spot worth seeing for the next hour, a free crib on the curb, a pop-up event, a hand needed nearby. Pinned to a place and a time, it shows up for whoever's around, the moment it matters.
The things that matter most are the hardest to see
Every day, situations appear around us that could matter right now, if only we knew about them in time.
A neighbour is giving away a crib, but her WhatsApp message scrolled away in minutes.
A local park clean-up is happening, but only the 12 people in the group know.
Someone nearby needs a babysitter for an hour, and nobody sees it in time.
This information is out there, but it's scattered across chats, posts, local groups, and messages that scroll away in minutes. By the time you find it, the moment has usually passed. There's so much noise that the signal disappears.
A living map of real-world situations
UPTOMAP adds a new layer of visibility to the physical world. Situations that normally vanish inside chats become visible signals on a map, tied to a place and a moment.
Instead of searching through groups and messages, you simply open the map and see what's happening around you.
Share it any way, the AI does the rest.
Photo, text, voice, or a quick chat: whatever’s easiest. The AI understands it, places it, describes it, and indexes it for you. No forms, no typing.
Share it any way
Snap a photo, type a line, say it out loud, or just chat with the AI. Whatever’s easiest in the moment. There’s no form to fill in.
The AI does the rest
However you give it, the AI understands: it works out what it is, pins it to your exact spot, writes the description, and indexes it. Not sure? It asks a couple of quick questions and fills in the rest.
You’re on the map
Neighbours nearby see it the moment it matters. One step, and you’ve made yourself known.
Each small contribution adds up to something no single person could build alone: a real-time picture of what's happening in your area.
Five types of local signal
Mark
Flag any situation
Pin any real-world moment to the map, from a hazard to a hidden gem. If it matters here and now, mark it.
Request
Ask your neighbours
Need a hand, a tool, a ride, a babysitter? Publish a request and let the people nearby respond.
Offer
Give things for free
Toys, clothes, furniture. If you no longer need it, someone nearby probably does. Post it, they come get it.
Activity
Share what's on
Street market, kids' play-date, community event. Let the neighbourhood know so the right people can join.
Notify
Alert others fast
Water outage, road closure, suspicious situation: push an instant notification to everyone nearby.
Another way to navigate the real world
Today, people make sense of reality through a handful of tools. UPTOMAP adds one more: the visibility of human situations in space: the live, local, in-the-moment layer.
Traditional Tools
The New Layer
A live map of human situations in space
Not a replacement, an addition.
The missing piece that makes the local, temporary, and human visible.
You control who sees what
Public visibility
Anyone on the map can see
Neighbourhood only
People within ~1 km
Trusted circle
Only people you approved
Set it to expire
You decide what you share, with whom, and for how long. Situations can disappear automatically once the moment has passed.
Reputation you can see
Members build trust over time, so you know who you’re dealing with before you respond.
Discreet by default
Reveal only as much as you choose up front. The rest stays private until you decide to connect.
The map fills in one neighbourhood at a time
A map of situations is only useful when there are people on it, so UPTOMAP doesn't try to cover the whole world on day one.
We launch neighbourhood by neighbourhood, starting with focused pilots in active local communities. Each pilot reaches a critical mass of neighbours first, so that when you open the map, there's already something real to see. As a community grows, the map grows with it.
That's why the first step isn't a global launch: it's your street.
The first pilots are live near you
We're building UpToMap one pilot at a time. Right now, moms in our first communities are giving away baby gear nearby, but that's just one use case. Most of UpToMap is public, so anyone can see what's around them, and everyone only ever sees what's relevant to them.
Moms nearby are already giving away baby clothes, toys, and kids’ gear for free. Open the map and see what’s up for grabs around you.
Most of UpToMap is public: drop a location anyone nearby can see, and discover what others have shared. The more public it is, the more your area comes alive.
Want a community? Open or closed, your call. We just love it when you make things public for the whole neighbourhood to see.

Making everyday life visible
Most of life happens locally, where people live, move, and cross paths. When the everyday situations around us become visible, small but real things change:
- People find each other faster
- Opportunities stop slipping away unnoticed
- Communities feel a little more connected

We're building UPTOMAP neighborhood by neighborhood, and we're looking for the first communities to build it with. Be part of shaping how it works.
