Child Safety Standards

UpToMap · Applies to the UpToMap app (com.uptomap.app) and web

UpToMap has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). These standards describe what is prohibited on our platform, how we enforce the prohibition, and how to reach us.

Prohibited content and behaviour

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form — photos, drawings, text, links — whether posted publicly, shared to a Circle, or sent in any chat.
  • Sexualization of minors in any form, including sexualized comments, imagery or role play.
  • Grooming: befriending or contacting a minor with the aim of sexual abuse, trafficking or any other exploitation.
  • Sextortion: threatening or blackmailing a person using real or alleged intimate imagery.
  • Trafficking of minors, and advertising or solicitation of any of the above.

How we enforce this

  • Content that users report to us is reviewed, and violating content and the accounts behind it are removed.
  • We report confirmed CSAM to the relevant authorities and to child-safety organisations such as NCMEC, and we cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement.
  • Accounts involved in CSAE are permanently banned.

How to report

  • In the app: use the Report action on a place or conversation.
  • By email: [email protected] with the subject “Child safety report”. Reports are reviewed with priority.
  • If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police first.
